Recently I was lucky enough to attend the “Refresh” Wedding Workshop held in St. John’s, Newfoundland, hosted by two very artistically creative wedding photographers, Jennifer Moher and Hugh Whitaker who traveled from Peterborough Ontario.  When I say I was lucky to attend, I mean lucky for a number of reasons!  First off, the day the workshop was announced it filled up with many talented local wedding photographers in about 30 minutes tops.  Secondly, I feel the workshop has given me a wider range of creativity and thinking and a fresher outlook when it comes to wedding photography in general.  Both Jennifer and Hugh were very knowledgeable on all aspects of wedding photography and creating special moments for clients that will last a lifetime and I feel very lucky they have shared their insights with me and I got a chance to learn from such wonderful mentors.

For the last two hours of the workshop we were given the chance to photograph two wonderful models (both husband and wife in real life) Kelly and Callie, who braved the cold winds of Signal Hill as they posed ever so gracefully allowing us all to capture their infectious smiles and love for one another!  Below you will find some of my favourite captures from the day!
